APHRODISIAC CHOCOLATE TRUFFLES
Makes 12 truffles
½ cup coconut oil
¼ cup coconut butter or cacao butter
¾ cup cacao
¼ cup + 1 Tbsp maple syrup
2 Tbsp fresh pomegranate seeds (from a half pomegranate)
1 tsp raw maca
1 tsp dried rose petals
In a mold or ice cube tray, sprinkle pomegranate seeds throughout. Set aside.
Melt coconut oil and coconut butter on low heat in a small saucepan until liquid. Remove from heat and add cacao powder, maple syrup and maca, and combine well. Pour chocolate into molds. Sprinkle with rose petals. Set in fridge for 30 minutes or freezer for 10 minutes.
Serve immediately or store in a covered container in the fridge for 3-6 days.
